Cathy’s formula for success is:

Advertising and marketing background
 attention to detail
+  hands-on and “can do” attitude
+  looking out for a client’s best interest
+  more than 10 years’ experience

=   a winning combination for her clients!

Cathy’s career in real estate started in 1989 when she came aboard Hillman Properties West Development Company helping with the strategic development of shopping centers in the Western U.S.  She specialized in amending CC&Rs and assisting land owners with conversion to alternate development plans.  This work was rewarding and interesting but Cathy found that in her spare time, she was more intrigued by the residential home market.

After spending her childhood and early adult years mostly in Southern California, she and her husband were searching for a new place to call home, found Marin County and fell in love!  It had all the things that yesteryear Southern California did - open spaces, proximity to a big city, access to the ocean, great outdoor life and kind-hearted people.

Upon relocating to Marin County, she started working for Coldwell Banker in a marketing capacity and became a licensed Realtor in 1998.  For the last 10 years, she has focused on the residential home market with an emphasis on assisting clients with relocation both nationally and internationally, with clients moving between Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, England and the U.S.

Cathy has a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in International Affairs from Arizona State University.  If she looks familiar, it may be that you recognize her from her television or theater work where she appeared in “90210,” “Sweet Valley High,” several commercials and in a series of plays in Los Angeles and in Marin County during her earlier years as an actor.  She also had the privilege of being in the 1984 Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics held in L.A. representing Uganda.

Cathy and her family live in Mill Valley. She has been actively involved with several charitable and professional organizations in her community for most of her life, starting in her formative years with Girl Scouting and the Les Fleurettes Society and she is currently supporting and involved with:

The Ritter House
Guide Dogs for the Blind
Delta Gamma Fraternity
Screen Actors Guild
Marin Parents of Multiples Club
Marin, California and National Associations of Realtors
